A launch event with a meaning
Foundation Erwin Olaf continues Olaf's mission: celebrating diversity, and affirming that love and freedom are universal rights. Erwin Olaf magazine is a tribute to the life, philosophy, and legacy of one of the Netherlands' most iconic artists and internationally renowned photography legends. It was an honor to create the magazine launch inspired by his vision, which was reflected in the performances, talks, and guests.
Royal performances for Jasper Abels exhibition
Visual artist Jasper Abels is known for his cinematic imagery that bridges classical aesthetics and modern storytelling. Not one, but two experiences marked the opening of his exhibition about 17th-century artist Gesina ter Borch: an opening event and a theatrical show in the presence of the King. Both events brought together models, couture, ballet, and opera to create living art.
A party in a raw garage setting
The DEPT party is an annual happening that always gets a little out of hand. This year, the design agency chose a raw venue where La Vie set up long communal tables for shared dining by candlelight. Between courses, Vincenzo performed classical ballet to techno, and Djoeke gave everyone goosebumps with a vocal act on top of a car. The night ended in an intimate club vibe with dj's till late....
Manifesting 17th century allure with a modern twist
La Vie was asked to create the opening events of several high-end bespoke office spaces of ‘The Collection’ across Amsterdam. Building on the heritage of these majestic venues for our creative approach, we brought the allure of the 17th Century to life – with a modern twist. By wrapping them in giant golden bows, we caught the eye of passers-by.
Ventuno wanted a launch to remember. Their concept builds on the ‘vibrant Italian-American eateries of early 20th Century New York’ and brings it alive with ‘Amsterdam’s modern heartbeat’. La Vie took out their contacts book and booked artists who know how to celebrate in style. And celebrate we did. The evening was a spectacular and exuberant fusion of glam and gastronomy.

Celebrating 10 years if fashion magazine L'officiel
Studio La Vie had the honour of leading the creative production 'a decade of L'Officiel Netherlands'. Press gathered to explore the magazine's visual legacy and witness the unveiling of the latest cover.
We transformed a warehouse into a stylish event space for Citylink's relationship event. Drawing inspiration from the company's core business, we used boxes, bubble wrap, tape, overalls, and shelving units. Guests enjoyed dinner served on a ten-meter-long conveyor belt, and hosts dressed in bubble wrap offered welcome cocktails from a shelving unit.

The happy couple asked La Vie to plan an unconventional wedding. They loved Amsterdam’s old-school club the Roxy, the movie ‘the cook, the thief, the wife and his lover’, and wanted a winter wedding. And so, on a cold February Sunday guests arrived at a dazzling circus tent filled with noir oddities, artistic surprises and long tables decadently laden with candles and champagne. The ceremony was held during dinner before the former Roxy DJs turned down the tent.

During the pandemic, La Vie developed the concept and set up Bohiem restaurant. Bohiem prepares intimate dinners over an open fire, using local ingredients, many from our own land. Pit cooking, fermenting, hot- and cold-smoking, and clay baking: the chefs take you on a culinary adventure in the outdoor kitchen. After dinner, unwind by the campfire with a cocktail and s’mores. The night ends in a luxurious tent, followed by breakfast in the morning.
